Scott Kerr, Wilma McIntyre, Ian McGregor, Rosemary Manson, Victor Budas,
Alison Ward, Derek Cunningham ( Roads ), Councillors Amanda Stewart and

MATTERS ARISING
Ceilidh tickets are printed. Colin Taylor expects to sell about 60 - 70.
Supper will be around 9.30.
Rosemary will re - negotiate with Baljaffray chip shop.

CORRESPONDENCE
Flora wrote to Police and Council re disturbances caused by youths at
Kilmardinny House.
Amanda Stewart stated that the Community Safety Officer should assess
the situation. A
possible solution could be padlocking the gates.

KILMARDINNY STRIP
DEVELOPMENT
This is only an outline proposal at the moment. If this is passed then a
detailed plan will be submitted and objections can be raised. The Roads’
department has plans to cope with the
increased volume of traffic if this development goes ahead. There
are concerns about school places for the increased number of children.
Also the demolition of the Allander Sports Centre before a new Sports
Centre is built will result in no sports’ facilities for about 18
months.
There is a meeting on Monday 8th October when it is expected the
proposed rail halt at the Allander and associated parking will be
raised.

TREASURER’S REPORT
£4099 in bank.

SUBCRIPTIONS
Subscriptions are coming in and have been received from 131 households
(+ 1 late from last year). Replies to questionnaire indicate support for
Burns’ supper and ceilidh.

PALS UPDATE
£30,000 in funds. £10,000 from council needs to be used by April.
£10,000 from landfill tax must be used by July. Basic drainage should be
completed and some play equipment installed by spring.

Draft copy done and approved. Scott will do photocopying.

SOCIAL EVENTS
Organization of ceilidh is well in hand.
Pantomime is cancelled.

Nothing to report re
property at 21 Hawthorn. The enforcement officer (Mr. Patey) should deal
with this. A complaint about rubbish burning in the garden of 21
Mosshead Rd. has been raised.
The
hedges at Burnbrae House need to be pruned.
