Minutes of meeting held on 17th May in Milngavie Bowling Club

2 CORRESPONDENCE
Flora has sent thankyou letters to A.G.M. speakers.
Phone mast has been erected.
3 TREASURER’S REPORT
£3869.01 in bank

Adele had phone call from Des McNulty’s Secretary [Jackie].
Lady from last house in Mosshead Rd. wants more information about PALS’ proposals
as she is concerned about usage of the area. Andy McGregor will act as contact .
5 SUBS.
No change from last year. Collection areas being looked at.

Subs. will be collected in August.

7 BEARSDEN AND MILNGAVIE FORUM
Meeting on 10th May. No local councillors present. Councillors from other areas attended. Doris Sofio chaired the meeting. It was suggested that one Lib Dem M.P. should be lobbied to vote against the refuse collection proposals. It is hoped that this would enable the protest to gather momentum.
An affiliation fee is required for expenses. Suggest we give £50.
